Rebecca Campbell
Biography
Rebecca is currently the Executive Editor for our flagship journal, Chemical Science. She joined the UUÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ of Chemistry in 2016 and has worked in scientific publishing since, including for four years at a large commercial publisher managing Open Access journals. She has had the pleasure of leading the editorial team dedicated to Chemical Science since October 2025. Rebecca studied Chemistry at the University of York and has a particular interest in transition metal catalysis.
Outside of work, Rebecca is a keen competitive horse rider and an avid reader.
