Competition is particularly fierce this year for a handful of roles, with the full candidate lists available to view below.
A remarkable 18 candidates are vying for two spots on the Inclusion and Diversity Committee, while 13 nominees are standing to fill two elected members positions on the Environment, Sustainability and Energy Community Council.
Meanwhile, 10 hopefuls are aiming for a place as the new elected member of the Education Community Council, with the same number also running to fill the two places on the Materials Community Council.
The shortlist, revealed in full below, comes after our Nominations Committee met to evaluate nominations against the role descriptors for several key roles.
