It advises the Board of Trustees on strategic developments in professional and employment practices. It is accountable, through regulations agreed by the Board of Trustees, for establishing, enforcing and monitoring standards for admission to categories of membership, the award of other qualifications/registrations, accreditation and professional conduct.

The Accreditation and Validation Committee is a sub-committee of the Professional Standards Board. Working practices for the Committee will be agreed separately with this Board.

To consider and advise the Professional Standards Board on the admission of members to the UU裸聊直播 of Chemistry and on the professional designation of Chartered Chemist.
